These nodes use complex mathematical algorithms to verify the transaction's validity and ensure the sender has sufficient funds.

Once verified, the transaction is grouped with others into a block and added to the existing chain of data. This process is secured by advanced cryptography, making it nearly impossible to alter or forge transaction history. Depending on the specific network, participants called miners or validators are rewarded with new coins for providing the computational power or stake necessary to maintain the network's integrity and security.
